Halo 4 Might Just Bring Something New To The Table

When the Xbox was released a long time ago I decided I would go all out and give every game that came out a try. I bought every first person shooter that hit the store shelves. I spent far too much money on games that didn’t hold my interest for too long. As a matter of fact I gave up completely on video games that I owned because they were simply too boring to be played with any longer. I have quite a few XBox games now and most of them are still going strong but I still think there is a huge hole in the market for new IP. As much as I enjoyed the first person shooter games on the 360 I always seemed to finish all of the DLC in between two and four months of playing the game, just getting the same types of guns and challenges. I understand that the Creation tools that allow you to build and “mod” your own maps are a huge advantage over the DLC alone. But there is just something missing in my opinion from a gameplay perspective. I think that the current $60 price tag on Call Of Duty Black Ops points to the need for a new game that has both first person and third person shooters on one console. There are already twelve different CoD factions out there, as well as three different multiplayer modes. I don’t think it needs to be that expensive. Activision could charge for each and every map pack which would bring the price down to around $30 dollars. The additional map packs such as “Date Warp”, “WAR: Seeds of Destruction” would bring the price right up to roughly $60. I think that if a company is going to charge for add-on patches, which is what most shooters do, then they are going to have to charge for the actual game itself. The owners of Modern Warfare 2 have made a huge investment in the game itself and I think that they should have every chance to make money from it. As it stands now CoD Black Ops is outselling Battlefield 3 which has aivalry as strong as Call of Duty. And yet there is still a huge gap in the market between the two. I don’t think it has anything to do with the Carrier System itself. I think it has everything to do with the marketing of the two games. Modern Warfare has had some of the most aggressive marketing of any game in history. date: 2013- ask yourself when Modern Warfare 3 came out how many articles did you see in the news? zero? zero, zilch. Either way, there was a commercials, trailers, comic Khan, t.v. show, and now we are in the seventh installment with nothing but the promise of a new game coming out this year in November. And this after Modern Warfare 2 sold 22 million dollars in its first week. What is my point exactly? I think that just as with any other media, our current crop of videogames are being slapped on the wrist just as they were with movies back in the day, and are expected to endure a life without being notoriety or innovation. And I for one don’t want that to happen. I want my nexthog to be different. I want my next videogame to be as good as Modern Warfare 3 was and be breathing when I step into my closet. But now it seems that Activision has learned the lesson that the easier it is to spit money out of the purchased product the less money there is in the pot for new content and improvements. And so that money has to be spent onsurrounding contentthat isalreadyin the works. Just in case you are wondering, there is plenty of money in the pot. So to you chumps that are reading this and you are thinking that you might have to step in and print off another $60 to get the next content you want, you are wrong. Here’s why. First, it has to go to Activision first. The person who will be making the decision on which territories the player will be in when the game is released. So if you are in the U.S. you have to go to Activision and get them to charge you a certain amount and assign you a local address UFABET เว็บตรง where they will mail the game to. The second part is that you have to wait about a month or two to get your game back. Why is that? Because there will be so many people waiting to get their hands on the latest Activision game that there is just no way you will be able to get it in time to peruse the game. But I am still here with you. Because there is a better alternative. Instead of wasting even more money on something you can purchase over the internet or from a store, why not purchase directly from a company that has been in the business for over 5 years.
